Bindu Patel is a Project Manager within the Cardiovascular division at The George Institute for Global Health, and full time PhD student at the University of Sydney.
Her current research focuses on the process evaluation of the impact of a computerised multifaceted quality improvement intervention to improve CVD management. This research aims to help us to understand the knowledge translation considerations for use of computerised QI interventions in clinical practice, and to develop implementation strategies to be applied in non-trial settings.
Bindu has a particular interest in improving health systems and outcomes and addressing health inequalities among disadvantaged populations.
She has a Master’s in Public Health in Epidemiology from Columbia University in New York City, and over 10 years of experience implementing and managing large scale clinical trials/studies. She currently holds a NHMRC post graduate scholarship.
