"We are one family" - Local and international stakeholders' spring visit to our new China office
On April 18 afternoon, the precious, fresh and warm spring wind came to Beijing and brought with it a joyful and memorable cocktail party to celebrate the moving of The George Institute for Global Health at Peking University Health Science Center (TGI @ PUHSC) into its new office.
All of our staff were delighted and honored by the participation of delegates from PUHSC led by Professor Ke Yang, executive vice president of Peking University and executive vice president of Peking University Health Science Center (PUHSC), and the delegates from Tibet University as well as delegates from our Global Office in Sydney.
The event was the first event after officially becoming the affiliation of PUHSC, and provided a chance for the global team, local team, key stakeholders and our staff to communicate and reinforce the relationships, emphasizing that “we are one family”.
The cocktail party was held at the new China office after Professor Ke, Professor Fang and other stakeholders finished touring around our new office. Professor Wu Yangfeng hosted the event. He introduced each honored guest, and gave his warm welcome and sincere thanks to every participant. Professor Robyn Norton, on behalf of the global team, gave a short speech and expressed her confidence in the future of cooperation.
The event created a cozy and warm atmosphere for all attendees like the spring breeze. Every one, no matter leaders of general staff, was all happy and felt proud of the new working environment. In the spring of 2013, we are looking forward to witnessing greater success in the future!
