Partho Mukherjee

Partho Mukherjee is a Research Assistant at the George Institute, working on the ARISE hub- a project aimed at improving accountability and governance mechanisms towards marginalized communities living in urban informal spaces, focusing on health systems. Partho holds a Bachelor of Technology degree in Civil Engineering from Vellore Institute of technology and a Master of Arts in Development Studies from Azim Premji University. His work and research interests include Political economy of Labour and Capital, Health Systems & Equity, and Agrarian Change- with interdisciplinary approaches from Critical Theory and Continental Philosophy. He has previously worked as a researcher with the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.
