Joygopal Podder

Joygopal heads Resource Mobilisation at The George Institute for Global Health, India. He and his team are collectively working towards expanding partnerships and are exploring new funding opportunities for different programmes with an aim to successfully drive the mission of the organisation.

He brings with him over 39 years of hands on experience of working with corporates and development sector organizations. He has established, led and grown the resource mobilisation operations of many esteemed organisations namely HelpAge India, SOS Children’s Villages, ActionAid, Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI), Centre for Catalyzing Change (C3) and WISH Foundation.

Joygopal is also a novelist and has published 19 books under his belt with two successful forthcoming web series based on his books. He has been featured in the Limca Book of Records and is recognized as the fastest published crime fiction author of India. In 2014, he was mentioned under The Forbes India list of top 100 Celebrity Authors.
