Dr Kazem Rahimi conferred as University Research Lecturer
The University of Oxford's University Research Lectureship panel has awarded Dr Kazem Rahimi the title of University Research Lecturer.
This award recognises Dr Rahimi's hard work and dedication in seven years of service at the University in Clinical Trial Service Unit and in his current role as Deputy Director of The George Institute for Global Health and James Martin Fellow in Healthcare Innovation.
Speaking of his award, Professor Stephen MacMahon said, "Dr Rahimi is an independent researcher of very high caliber who has made exceptional contributions to the field of cardiovascular disease research as demonstrated by his stellar productivity in research, leadership, teaching and mentorship".
His new title will take effect from 1 January 2014.
