Dr Jagnoor Jagnoor
Jagnoor is Senior Research Fellow, with a background in injury epidemiology. She has a conjoint appointment as Senior Lecturer, Faculty of Medicine, UNSW and an honorary Senior Lecturer appointment, School of Public Health University of Sydney, and The John Walsh Centre for Rehabilitation Research.
Jagnoor’ s research interests are exploring the impact of injuries, assessing issues of equity and vulnerability in the distribution of the burden of injuries, evaluating potential interventions to reduce the burden of injuries in Australia, Africa and Asia and contributing to data for decision making in preventing injuries and improving recovery post-injury.
Her current research spans a broad range, including injury prevention, rehabilitation, health-related quality of life, economic impact and alternate systems of insurance with respect to injury, whiplash, and mild traumatic brain injury. She is passionate about creating new knowledge to best address the injury burden in low middle-income populations with competing for health needs. She is engaged in several projects in LMIC working on injury surveillance systems, road injuries, burns, falls and drowning.
Timothy Longstaff
Timothy Longstaff is a Non-Executive Director of Aurizon, Channel Nine, Ingham and Perenti Global. He is also a Member of the Australian Treasury’s Takeovers Panel.
Tim spent most of his career in global investment banking, leading mergers and acquisitions, capital markets and strategic transformation assignments for organisations including Managing Director of Investment Banking at Deutsche Bank. He also acted as a Senior Advisor to the Australian Minister for Trade and Investment, Simon Birmingham from 2018 to 2021.
Tim joined the Board in January 2022 and is Chair of the Risk Committee and Member of the Audit Committee.
Sarah Butler
Sarah Butler is a Non-Executive Director of IAG and RACV’s Insurance Joint Venture IMA, Lumonus and Australian Clinical Labs Limited. She is also a Member of Chief Executive Women and Advisor of Sync Technologies.
Sarah is a former senior partner with Booz Allen and Strategy&, focused on health, insurance and government. She worked in 30+ countries including 5 years in China/Asia and also led PwC’s Global Health practice and NSW Government relationship through COVID-19.
Sarah joined the Board in November 2023 and is Chair of the People Committee and a Member of the Investment Committee.
