We are working in many countries to equitably improve the health and wellbeing of populations worldwide. We are developing and co-creating innovative, cutting-edge research, evaluation, policies, advocacy and knowledge to increase the positive impact of:
- Governments through research that supports evidence-informed, equity-focussed, rights-based policymaking, and regulation.
- The commercial sector that has an influence on health, such as through the food supply, transport and delivery of health care and treatment, or healthcare products.
- Communities, including Tribal / First Nations groups, in harnessing internal resources and mobilising to improve local, regional, and global health and wellbeing outcomes.
The Healthier Societies program builds on existing work across Food Policy, Injury Prevention, and Mental Health, for example, and is expanding into new areas of focus:
