Accelerating actions on NCDs

In November 2024, a collaborative workshop was held in Canberra, led by The Australian Chronic Disease Prevention Alliance, Australian Global Health Alliance, and The George Institute for Global Health. This workshop aimed to orient actions and discuss the critical role Australia can play globally in addressing Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). This newsletter recaps the key discussions and outcomes of the event and also outlines plans for continued advocacy and engagement in the lead-up to the 2025 UN High-Level Meeting on NCDs.
